Last month I found three of the four items above on sale and couldn’t believe how good they were, especially considering the price I’ve paid. And they were just what I was looking for: key neutral pieces that I believe everyone needs on their wardrobe. They are versatile, inexpensive and you will get a lot of wear out of them.
1. WHITE SHIRT
I already own a few white shirts, but this viscose one from H&M has the style and fabric I was looking for. It’s very soft and a bit sheer, it’s in between dressed up and dressed down. It’s lightweight enough for spring and even summer, and this one costs only £12.99.
2.LACE CAMI TOP
I use cami tops a lot during spring and summer, and I have this white and black one from Asos. But I didn’t have a lace one, and I found the above at Boohoo for the bargain of £6! They also have this other model that is really pretty. Perfect to wear under a cardigan or that slouchy jumper, so you have a subtly sexy touch!
3. CHELSEA BOOTS
This is something I learned to be very English! I am loving Chelsea boots, they are comfortable for being flat but are still very stylish, so my first pair was a black suede one from M&S. Now I found this one at H&M that looks crisp (if this is an adjective I can use for boots…) and paid £18.99! (currently retailing at £24.99). Love wearing with (skinny) denim, skirts, and dresses. It’s real leather version is here.
4. LEATHER SKIRT
Leather or faux leather like this one from Missguided that I got with 25% off (currently £18), this is an item I’m eager to wear this spring. I wanted a clean cut, not too short to too long, and a fabric that looked chic. This can be dressed down with cotton shirts and trainers, and dressed up in many different ways!
What pieces do you think are essential to your wardrobe? Let me know in the comments! And I’ll also be sharing how I’d style these items!
